In 1996, Pam’s dream to provide families and individuals hope and healing came to fruition. Pam has a passion for helping others and has dedicated her life to assisting those with catastrophic injuries, aging health concerns, and those struggling with addiction issues. A Registered Nurse since 1977, Pam is a Certified Case Manager, Certified Rehab Nurse, and a Trained Drug and Alcohol Interventionist. She has worked in various areas of the health care field including medical, catastrophic injuries, specializing in brain and spinal cord injury, substance abuse, aging needs, and acquired developmental and mental health disabilities. Pam’s personal and professional experience provides a unique and powerful combination. She’s created an environment, and pioneered an approach, that significantly reduces the strain, anxiety, and uncertainties families experience when caring for their loved ones during challenging life events and transitions. Pam has a heart for those in need and advocates for her clients with integrity and respect.
Chief Operating Officer
Steve has more than 30 years of business experience in a wide range of industries. He brings a powerful combination of business and personal knowledge. His own personal experience with recovery from addiction began in 1992. Recovery is the foundation of Steve’s life and through this process, he has continuously worked to heal and deepen relationships. This healing has brought joy into his life and has been an example of what is possible. Steve has been dedicated to giving back and working with others throughout the course of his recovery. Steve is responsible for leading the company’s business development initiatives and operations. He is best described as someone who has a deep passion for helping people connect to their purpose and meaning in life. “I am proud to be part of Feinberg Consulting because of the great group of people involved and the incredible opportunity to make my passion my career. Agnes Schare, RN, BSN
Vice President of Bridgeway
In 1978, Agnes received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Oakland University and became a registered nurse. She began her career in OB-GYN in both a hospital and office setting. She worked in prenatal care instructing new mothers and ensuring the safety and well-being of the family through delivery to postpartum care. Using her medical knowledge and experience obtained from her OB-GYN career, she then owned and operated an in-home licensed daycare facility where she ran a successful pre-kindergarten program for over twenty years. Most recently, she held the title of Director of Nursing at an assisted living facility specializing in geriatric and dementia residents. She spent nine years facilitating and implementing safety measures to ensure the well-being of all residents. She found the experience to be an “honor,” to have the opportunity to work with the aging population. She is excited to bring her extensive expertise to the Bridgeway team. “I joined Feinberg Consulting because of their outstanding reputation. I look forward to working with the team in order to put my geriatric medical experience to use.” Agnes has been married for over 35 years and has two wonderful daughters and son-in-law, and “my perfect dog.” She loves spending time with her family, “whether we are having barbecues, traveling, or getting together to watch our favorite television shows.” She also has many wonderful friends in her life and loves their weekly canasta games.
Becky Eizen, MBA, CDP, CSA
Vice President of Marketing and Community Outreach
Becky Eizen received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in Marketing from Georgia State University in Atlanta. She worked for many years in the retail industry holding such positions as District Operations Manager and Regional Executive Recruiter. Becky has always had a passion for helping others. She began her career in the field of geriatrics over 15 years ago. She developed and implemented a program for older adults seeking to house people and assist them so that they could remain in their homes as independently as possible. As a geriatric care manager, Becky has worked closely with clients and their families to make the best decisions possible for their loved one(s). She understands the importance of geriatric care management and knows that it can truly have a positive impact on a person’s quality of life. She is also keenly aware of the stress that caring for older adults can have on a family. She is a trained leader in PATH (Personal Action Toward Health), an evidenced-based program to help people with chronic illness, as well a T-Care Consultant (Tailored Care), a program designed specifically to assist family caregivers. She speaks frequently in the community and attends many seminars on elder law, hospice care, and pain management. Since Becky joined Bridgeway, she focuses her efforts on educating individuals and the community about the benefits of Geriatric Care Management and Caregiving, as needed. She is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP). In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her three boys, husband, and dog. She is an avid reader and enjoys reading and educating herself on a variety of topics including geriatrics, leadership skills, and communication.
Teresa Austreng, RN, BSN
Senior Care Manager
Teresa Austreng joins Bridgeway with over 20 years of experience in the nursing field. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oakland University and has worked as a Nurse in Cardiology, Critical Intensive Care Units and in an Ambulatory Surgical setting. She was also the Director of Nursing for an Internal Medicine Office and has worked in the home care field. Teresa thoroughly enjoys working with the geriatric population, and she looks forward to applying her nursing knowledge and experience to support Bridgeway in continuing to provide phenomenal care. In Teresa’s spare time she loves spending time with her husband and two children, reading, and enjoys being outdoors and exercising. Teresa is also a three-time participant in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for breast cancer and spends much time volunteering in the community.
Karen Gordon Rosenberg, LMSW, CCM
Certified Care Manager
Karen Gordon Rosenberg joins the Bridgeway team after years as a specialist in gerontology, and most recently, as Creative Producer for a local public relations firm. With a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan, Karen’s career has focused on the Detroit Jewish community, working with older adults and collaborating with professional and lay leaders in the community. Working in a congregate housing for older adults, Karen focused on achieving maximum well-being for residents while enabling them to age in place independently. This included helping families cope with the stress of caregiving for their aging loved ones. While addressing the needs of multigenerational families, Karen developed a depth and breadth of knowledge of valuable resources in the community. Helping people thrive by connecting them to the appropriate support systems continues to fulfill Karen both personally and professionally. Karen is devoted to her family, taking an active role in the lives of her four growing children. She takes pride in her volunteer work as a parent at school, an active member of her synagogue, and an advocate for her neighborhood. Commitment to her daily yoga practice helps her to maintain balance while nourishing body and mind.
Client Services Manager
Rachel graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in Social Science and Health Studies with a cognate in Psychology from Michigan State University in 2010. Immediately following graduation, she became certified as a nursing assistant working for Beaumont Hospital for two and a half years, primarily in orthopedic care. Up until her start with Bridgeway, she worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant and Patient Care Coordinator for a plastic surgery practice in Southfield where she took on many roles assisting with patients, as well as running and maintaining the front office. “I have such strong compassion and dedication for helping people, which is why I chose to pursue an education, and career, in the health care field. After learning what Bridgeway provides for clients and families in need, I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the team and be able to assist in making a difference in so many people’s lives.” In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking and watching television. She is also a Licensed Esthetician so she enjoys learning new skin care therapies and make-up techniques.
Caregiver Liaison and Training Coordinator
Kim has more than 20 years of experience in the caregiving industry. She is a very knowledgeable, dedicated, and compassionate member of the Bridgeway team, “I love what I do, and Bridgeway is a great place to combine my people skills, knowledge, and compassion for others.” Kim’s family time is very important to her, in her free time she also enjoys spending time with her friends, skating, bowling and reading.
Administrative Assistant and Caregiver Runner
Bethany is passionate about caring for others and serving on the Bridgeway Team to provide excellent care and services to all our clients and staff. She has taken a number of college classes in pursuit of a nursing degree. Bethany joins the Bridgeway team because she enjoys serving others on a day-to-day basis and providing comfort to those in need. In addition, she is hoping to continue with her studies in the medical field and looks forward to gaining more experience. Bethany is a single mom with an 8-year-old son, and when she’s not working, she enjoys stamp collecting, country music, working out, going to church, singing, camping and antiquing. In addition, she is skilled at working with computers and enjoys web and video design.
