Where do you provide services?
We provide services in the client’s living environment. We can provide services in the home, independent living community, or assisted living community throughout the Metro Detroit area.

Are your caregivers insured and bonded?
Our caregivers are both insured and bonded. We perform thorough criminal background checks on all employees including fingerprinting, driving record and insurance review.

Will I have a choice of who comes to my home?
A Bridgeway Care Manager will conduct an assessment of your wants and needs to provide the appropriate caregiving options. You will then have the opportunity to meet the caregivers in your home setting for introduction and interview.

Will my family member always receive care from the same caregiver?
Depending on the number of hours and days a caregiver will be with you, you may need more than one caregiver. As often as possible, we will continue to keep the same people on the same schedule for continuity.

Can Bridgeway help with medications?
A nurse care manager will establish a plan for your medications. The professional caregiver will assist in the administration of those medications.

Can I change or discontinue the services my loved one receives?
A care manager is available to speak with you at any time to discuss your loved one’s services.

What are the costs of your services?
A care manager will assess the needs of the client and their family and develop a comprehensive care plan. Upon completion, the care plan and costs will be reviewed with the client and family.

Are home care services covered by insurance or Medicare?
In-home care services may be covered by long-term care insurance. Veterans’ benefits may qualify you for a portion of our services. We can discuss these benefits and application processes with you. Medicare and health insurance does not cover private duty care.
